Jiang Wei introduced the economic operation of the steel industry in the first three quarters at the meeting. He said that since the establishment of the publicity committee of the Steel Association, through the propaganda work of the steel enterprises themselves and strengthen the publicity work of the industry, the image of China's steel has been improved in the public's cognition, especially the role of the basic material of steel and the new image of high-end, green and intelligent, which has been recognized by the media and the general society. Behind this are the efforts of steel enterprises to pursue high-quality development, but also the effectiveness of our publicity work.

Jiang Wei said that publicity work is also productive and can create value for enterprises. He put forward three suggestions for strengthening industry publicity work: First, the steel industry publicity work to establish a "chess" "step by step" awareness, hope that by playing the platform role of the steel Association publicity committee, better organize and coordinate the publicity resources of all parties, hold the finger into a fist, form a joint force, and ultimately can achieve the effect of "1+1>2" to meet the needs of the industry's growing positive publicity, the Chinese steel story told well and spread far. The second is to proceed from the actual situation of the industry, guide market expectations and influence government decision-making. Through publicity work, timely reflect the demands of the industry, enhance social understanding, and obtain relevant national policy support. Third, based on the development of the industry, grasp the publicity orientation, do a good job of situation publicity, policy publicity, performance publicity, typical publicity, tell the good story of the industry, sing the main theme, promote positive energy.

In the discussion and exchange session, the participants had in-depth exchanges on the focus of the propaganda work of the steel industry in the coming period. We believe that under the current situation, the publicity work of the steel industry should be linked internally and externally, exert joint efforts, truly play the role of unifying ideas and building consensus, establish industry confidence, tell a good steel story, and promote the high-quality development of the industry. It is necessary to gather forces and cooperate with many parties more widely, convert the demands of enterprises into professional opinions of the industry, and promote the solution of common problems in the industry by strengthening publicity. It is necessary to do a good job of theme publicity and policy promotion, help enterprises to correctly understand and implement industry policies, and show the new image of China's high-end, intelligent and green steel. In addition, the handling of public opinion from time to time should be positive, calm and objective, and properly handled through a positive way to create a good public opinion environment for the development of the industry.
